Brian Wolfe and his family live in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, where both his family and the origins of his first novel were born. " I truly love the outdoors and other than conjuring up a wonderful story, skiing is my passion."
"Lost Lake, A Jippsy Russ Adventure started out as a campfire ghost story about Dutch Schultz and his escape from the authorities that was told to my bunk mates and me, when I was only 7 years old. I never forgot it. They even showed us the abandoned car on our hike to the campsite. It felt so real.
I had the opportunity a few years ago to recount the story to a group of friends and their kids around a campfire not too far from where I saw the car, with my own brand of embellishment this time. One of the mothers of my kid's friend came up to me and suggested I write a book. What started out as a hobby took on a life of its own."
"This particular story recounts the events that set Jippsy and his family on a lifelong adventure."
"There is much more to come. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did writing it."
Brian Wolfe and his wife, Stephanie Brenhouse, continue to write, edit and distribute their own brand of stories through their publishing company BrenWolfe Publications.
